RESIDENTS and businesses in Falsgrave have been left without gas after a burst water main ruptured a gas pipe in the area.
The incident, which is believed to have taken place on Thursday evening, is known to be affecting a number of properties including those in Commercial Street and St John's Road.

A spokesman for Yorkshire Water said: "The difficulty for us at the moment is in locating the burst, which has found its way into the gas main.

"Once we have located the burst and isolated it, we can then get on with the repair and allow Northern Gas Network to do much the same."
