There is still time for you to enter this year's competition which will see the winner automatically entered into the Miss England final.
Cherie Murray, 18, from West Heslerton, and Jordan Mason, 22, from Filey, have entered the competition whic
h last year saw Rachael Cooper take the title.
Jordan told the Evening News: "Rachael seems like a really nice girl and I would love to take part in this competition."
The final of the contest will take place on Sunday May 8 at the Spa.
As well as the automatic entry to the Miss England final, the winner will receive a beauty package from Serenity, based at Compass Health and Fitness, in Barry's Lane; free hair and beauty from Shona's in St Thomas Street for the year; jewellery from Enigma for the winner and runners-up; a photo shoot from SMI photography; a dress from Desire for the winner and runners-up and a handbag designed by Pamela Jones.
Melissa Chapman, 22, is organising the event. She said: "Miss Scarborough is a great competition and the girls always have lots of fun on the night.
"The winner will be treated like a beauty queen throughout the year and the best prize is definitely the entry into the Miss England competition.
"We are looking forward to another great final."
As well as an overall winner there will be an eco award, Miss Charity and Miss Talent.
