Men hurt in crash

EMERGENCY services were called to two road traffic incidents in Scarborough yesterday.
At 8.15am a 19-year-old man on a quad bike was involved in a collision at the corner of Filey Road and Granville Road. He was taken to Scarborough Hospital by ambulance, but is not thought to have suffered serious injuries.

Then at 12.50pm a male pedestrian in his 40s was involved in a collision with a car at the junction of Westborough and York Place. He was treated by paramedics at the scene for an ankle injury.
