VISITORS from across the country are continuing to pour into Muston to sample its spectacular Scarecrow Festival.
The annual event, featuring a number of an effigies including the Queen and Prince Philip, Freddie Mercury and Captain Jack Sparrow, has delighted crowds who have travelled from far and wide to sample the attractions on show.

Spokesman Cllr Godfrey Allanson said: "It's been absolutely packed and the car park is about full most of the time.

"Every year it gets harder for the people in the village to think of new ideas, but they always come up with something interesting and the standard is really good.

"Let's just hope the weather stays good for the rest of the festival."
The festival runs until Sunday.
