Game on for Bridge players

CARD sharks can help Save the Children at Norton College next week.

Supporters of the charity have organised a Bridge Day and are now issuing an appeal in the hope of attracting fans of the card game.

The fundraiser takes place on Wednesday, October 31 from 10am and will also include coffee and biscuits, a buffet lunch with wine.

Prize giving follows in the afternoon session at the college.

Up for grabs are two first prizes of a dinner for two people at The Old Lodge, Malton, among other prizes.

There will also be a raffle held during the day.

Tickets to the event, on sale now, cost £12 and are available by calling Charlie Chambers on (01653) 618861 or Anne Bell on (01653) 692826.
