School gets festive for annual fair

TERRINGTON Hall Preparatory School is this year holding its Christmas Fair in aid of Ryedale Special Families.

It takes place next week on Wednesday November 21, from 3pm to 5.30pm. Half the proceeds will be donated to the local charity.

The fair features more than 30 stalls selling stocking fillers to inspirational gifts, from Bon Coeur Fine Wines, The Music Tree Company, Dales of Malton, Plum, Feast, Rosanna Wood Designs and Beautiful Boot Jacks and others.

Star prizes in the Grand Christmas Draw include a day at York races, a morning on the gallops at Habton Grange, luxury weekend breaks in Amotherby and Robin Hood’s Bay, and dinner, bed and breakfast for two at the Talbot, Malton.

Tea and home-made cakes from Terrington Hall’s kitchens will also be available.

Admission is £2 for adults, children go free.
