Tasty treats of Helmsley get approval by city store

NORTH Yorkshire deli, Hunters of Helmsley, has teamed up with York department store Fenwick to introduce a Christmas food and drink department for the third year in a row.

Back by popular demand following successful seasonal partnerships, the store has this year turned over an even larger 150 sq ft space to the deli.

Hunters is selling Christmas gifts for food and drink lovers
and holding tastings on weekends throughout the festive season.

Christine Garnett, owner of Hunters, in Market Place, said: “It’s fantastic to be back in Fenwick again this year, bringing our unique ranges of food and drink, many of which are produced locally, into the heart of York. We will be doing lots of tastings this year, which gives us a great opportunity to chat to people and help them find the thing they’re looking
for.”

Neil Setterfield, store director at Fenwick in Coppergate, York, added: “We have had people asking if and when Hunters would be back in store since last Christmas and so we’re delighted they’re with us again.

“Fenwick York doesn’t traditionally sell food and drink and so in the festive season its ideal for us to be able to bring in expertise from such a well known and respected Yorkshire deli.”
