A NEW art gallery's first exhibition opens on Friday and runs until January 18.
The Yokshire Wolds Gallery is near the top of Staxton Hill, on the B1249 Staxton-Driffield road.
The exhibition of landscape painting can be seen five days a week, from Tuesday to Sunday, from 10am to 4pm.
Virginia Sutton of Willerby Wold Farm says: “We have been involved in a large farm-diversification scheme, sponsored by the Rural Developement Fund, to turn three adjacent farm buildings into art studios, a coffee shop and an art gallery.
“The studios will be able to take up to 15 artists, the coffee shop will seat up to 50 people and the gallery will promote and showcase the work of professional artists who are living and working in Yorkshire and the North East,” Virginia says.
