POP fans of all ages flocked to Bridlington Spa last night to watch some of the hottest music acts perform.
The Sugababes, below, one of Britain's biggest girl groups, got the loudest cheers of the night and they did not disappoint the crowd of 3,000 singing all their hits including Push the Button. Danish popsters, Alphabeat, Same Difference and Sandi Thom were also on the bill.

Local indie rockers One Night Only from Helmsley pulled out because of illness. Two young girls made the trip from Scarborough.

Alexandra Asquith, 11, from Cloughton, said: "The Sugababes were very good. They played all the songs they have done. "The lighting and dancing were very good and the Sugababes actually talked to the audience, some bands don't do that. She also liked Sandi Thom. "She did more than I Used To Be A Punk Rocker but that was my favourite." said Alexandra.

Her friend Kate Crossland, 11, from Huddersfield said: "I also liked Alphabeat and Same Difference who were fun. "They sang songs you knew like those from High School Musical."
