Classic clowning around

HALF-TERM fun is on the agenda in Pickering.
There’ll be laughs aplenty when a touring cast rolls into Pickering next week.
Clowning around will most certainly be the order of the day at Pickering Memorial Hall on Tuesday, which will play host to the Sandow Clowns at 2pm.
Funds raised from the charitable show will go to support children with cancer.
Clowning for CLIC Sargent features circus skills, and ‘classic clean clowning’.
Since 1987, The Sandow Clowns have toured for good causes. So far the shows have raised more than £24,000 for CLIC Sargent.
CLIC Sargent is the leading national charity that cares for children and young people with cancer and their families, in hospitals and in the community.
Tickets are available on the door for £3.50, admission is free for children aged two years and under.
