Fast moving spoof show plays at Norton College

After their sell-out production of Sir Alan Ayckbourn comedies, NOMADS Productions comes to Norton College for David Tristram’s Inspector Drake and the Black Widow.

As the intrepid Inspector and the faithful Sergeant Plod attempt to solve the murder of JR Johnson there are many questions to be answered.

Why is Johnson badly disguised as his own wife? Why had he eaten a tortoise? Where is Wendy, Sergeant Plod’s pet spider? When the Black Widow lays her deadly trap who will be the next to die?

Find out at Norton College
tomorrow or on Friday and
Saturday this week, at 7.30pm.

A spokesperson said: “If you’re free, and want a laugh away from the telly then come on down to Norton College and enjoy some local live theatre from the company who brought you the sell-out Alan Ayckbourn plays this June at the Milton Rooms Studio Theatre.”

Tickets are available from the booking office at Malton
Library, by calling 01653 600048 or at the door of Norton College in Langdale Road on the night.

Tickets cost £7, and £6 for concessions.

There will be cabaret style seating and bar at the showing of the whodunnit spoof.
