TAXI fares in Ryedale are set to remain at current levels during the coming year.
A report from Phil Long, head of environment at Ryedale District Council, to a meeting of the licensing committee tomorrow says that following talks with taxi drivers “due to the recession it is not considered necessary to increase the fares that taxis charge their passengers”.
