CYCLISTS of all ages are expected to tour Castle Howard on Saturday during the annual St Catherine's Hospice Bike Ride Challenge.
Sponsored by building firm Rok, the three-mile course around the estate is suitable for all abilities.

Danny Mulqueen, Rok York’s area leader, said: “We are happy to support the St Catherine’s Hospice sponsored bike ride. As well as strengthening the connection between our employees and St Catherine’s Hospice, the event is a great team-building exercise and one which will boost a few heart rates.”

Entry costs £5 for adults and £1 for under-16s, who must be accompanied by an adult or have written permission from a parent or guardian. The fee covers all costs and includes a one-day pass into the grounds of the estate near Malton. Registration is from 10am-noon at Mill Hills, Castle Howard.

Anyone interested in taking part should call the hospice fundraising department on (01723) 378406.
