FEMALE harmony group Raven are flying into The Bandroom in Farndale for a concert next week.
The Scarborough-based performers will be performing a programme of original material and new arrangements of medieval and contemporary pieces accompanied by keyboard, percussion, recorders, whistle, guitars and flute.

“Farndale Bandroom is one of our favourite venues,” said Pat Edmond. “We’ll probably spend most of the day there and get into the mood for the concert by taking a lovely walk up the side of the beck – weather permitting!

“We really missed singing in Farndale last summer, we’ve just been so busy writing and recording new material for our CD which is now finished.”

The concert is next Saturday at 8pm. Tickets, which cost £7.50 and include a glass of wine or juice or nibbles, are available on the door.
