A TOUCH of the orient arrives in Dalby Forest this summer as the Forestry Commission steps up its campaign to help people lead healthier lifestyles.
Open-air tai chi workshops are being staged in the beauty spot, near Pickering, on August 1 and 8 for anyone wanting to balance their Ying with their Yang.

The sessions will be led by 50-year-old Terry Doyle, who took up tai chi in the 1970s and spent 12 years as a professional instructor.

Katie Thorn, recreation manager, said: "This is the ideal chance for beginners of all ages to have a go at relaxation and breathing techniques.
