MEMBERS of the Middleton and Derwent hunts were out on Boxing Day.
It was a "brilliant turnout" at the annual meet of the Middleton Hunt in Malton's market place. More than 300 people, including the town crier, mingled with the huntsmen, mounted followers and the hounds.
A small group of anti-hunting campaigners held up banners in protest.
