BUSINESS owners in Pickering are being invited to share ideas and network at a new Breakfast Club.

Fifteen businesses, ranging from sole traders to large companies that operate throughout Yorkshire, have already signed up to the forum which meets every six weeks at the Crossways Hotel on Eastgate, Pickering.

Each meeting of the Breakfast Club, organised by Johnsons Accountants Ltd, Hallgarth, features a topic for discussion ranging from Customer Service – Why it Has to Improve, Time Management and the Need to Delegate and Staff – Working as a Team.

Other areas which will be looked at include dealing with competition, controlling costs and issues affecting sole
traders which have no employees.

“Feedback has been brilliant,” said Leonie Richardson, of Johnsons Accountants Ltd. “We have had people who said that even though the topics did not appear to concern them, they still turned up and found they could use some of the ideas that were shared.

“It’s a good chance for people to increase their knowledge and learn how to expand their business.”

The Pickering Business Breakfast Club will meet today at the Crossways Hotel, 8am to 9.30am with the following meetings scheduled for March 20 and April 17. Anyone interested in becoming a member is asked to contact Leonie on (01751) 472509.
