Crash on A64 at Rillington

Police are investigating a minor collision involving a yellow LCV van and a green agricultural spraying machine at Rillington.

The incident occurred near the west-bound carriageway of the A64, close to St Andrews Court, at around 7am today (Friday).

Ambulance and fire crews were also called to assist at the scene following initial reports of people being trapped.

The two men in the van and the man driving the spraying machine escaped serious injury.

The vehicles have been recovered and the Highways Agency cleared debris from the road before it fully re-opened at around 8.30am.
