A colourful new look for school
PUPILS from Langton Primary School have unveiled a brand new look for their bathroom, thanks to a generous donation from the Dulux Let’s Colour Project, an initiative which offers a helping hand to community groups, charities and individuals around the UK.
The school’s toilets were looking dull and uninspiring and the staff were keen to decorate the interior of the bathrooms using creative and imaginative jungle themed designs. Using a selection of yellow, blue, green, brown, purple and pink paints, the facilities were transform- ed.
The paint was donated by Dulux Decorator Centres on Auster Road, York, as part of the Let’s Colour Project, a scheme which offers a helping hand to community groups, charities and individuals around the UK.
School secretary Sue Wright, who nominated the school, said: “We are extremely grateful for the paint donation and support. It has been amazing creating some fantastic jungle designs to paint on the bathroom walls. Seeing the looks on the children’s faces has been so rewarding.”
