Arty kids needed for tractor run contest

One lucky youngster is needed to start the 12th annual Beadlam Charity Tractor Run,

In what is fast becoming a tradition, organisers are once again holding an art competition with the winner chosen to do the honours at this year’s race on Sunday May 4.

To be in with a chance to win, youngsters aged 12 or under have to submit a drawing of a tractor.

As well as waving the flag to start the run, the winning drawing will also be featured on the front page of the catalogue of entries. Last year’s Beadlam Charity Tractor Run raised £7,336 for Yorkshire Air Ambulance – taking the total donated to a whopping £68,644 since it launched 11 years ago.
