Beer lovers in for a treat as brewery opens tap room

Beer lovers will be able to sample a Ryedale brewery’s top tipples when it opens its Tap Room to the public for the first time on Saturday.

The award-winning Brass Castle Brewery will sell select beers made by its team of master brewers at 10A Yorkersgate as well as select guest beers and top ales from another Malton-based brewery, Bad Seed.

The Tap, which is just metres from where the beer is fermented, will be open from 12pm to 8pm on Saturday – the same day as the Monthly Food Lovers Market.

Head Brewer Phil Saltonstall said: “We’re really looking forward to treating visitors to fresh local beer, served on site.

“We hope to make this a fixture alongside the Malton Monthly Food Market and, if there’s demand, to open the Tap more regularly.”

All Brass Castle beers are vegan and vegetarian friendly.
