Tiny Rebel, Burning Sky and Siren are just a few of the breweries who will be featured at the first Beertown beer festival in the Milton Rooms, Malton, this weekend.
Local breweries Bad Seed and Brass Castle are organising the craft beer event which is expected to become a popular fixture on Ryedale’s calendar.
Beers offering a wide variety of styles and flavours have already been arriving from across the UK in time for Friday and Saturday’s festival.
Creations from both Bad Seed and Brass Castle will also feature heavily.
Entertainment will come from The Lumberjack Cowboy Heartbreak Trucking Company, who are headlining both Friday and Saturday, and Hull-based The Shiznitz on Friday and The Patron Saints, from York, the evening after.
Local artisan food businesses, Malton Relish, Hayloft Foods and Haxby Bakehouse, will provide top-notch nourishment to complement the selection of beer.
Proceeds from the not-for-profit event will support local charities, including Ryedale Special Families.
Tickets, are £6 each, are available in advance from www.beertown.moonfruit.com or Malton Tourist Information Centre.
Entry includes a festival glass and a beer from each of Malton’s breweries.
