Twit twoo baby owls are undergoing training to become the latest additions to the flying team at the International Bird of Prey Centre at Duncombe Park, Helmsley.

The pair of Ural Owls, who are around six weeks old, are being hand reared by Charlie Heap and his team ahead of demonstrations in front of visitors this summer – and as the stars of the Winter Owl Evenings which launch on November 1. The owls will be named once they begin flying with this year’s theme for new birds based on Yorkshire weather tems.
