ALL will be revealed when five young men take to the stage for a charity striptease next month.

Inspired by The Full Monty, Ryan Swain, Scott Simpson, Sam Brookes, Derek Patterson and Callum Wright will take a leaf out of the smash hit 90s film and strip down to the buff at The Railway Sports and Social Club, in Norton, on Friday February 22, at 8.30pm.

They are raising money in memory of Norton College student Laura Tierney with the cash to be split between Louby’s Lifeline, Brain Tumour Research & Support Across Yorkshire and Children with Cancer.

It is the latest fundraising idea from Ryan, of Norton, who raised thousands of pounds last year when he skateboarded from Malton to Scarborough and back.

“I do something big for charity every year and, this time, I thought we’ll have a go at this,” said Ryan. “There’s quite a few similarities between us and The Full Monty film in that our economy isn’t great and there’s a lot of unemployment.”

“And like the film, we’re just hoping to put on a good show, have some fun and put smiles on the faces of the audience.”

A lot of people approached by Ryan decided not to join him in The Full Monty but eventually he found five friends willing to bare all.

“It’s a once in a lifetime opportunity so I thought why not,” said Sam. “I’m never going to do it again and it’s for a good cause.”

Rehearsals for their routine are now underway at the Body and Soul gym and they also have the support of Fab, the fancy dress shop, both in Malton. Entry is £5 on the door and will feature a raffle and DJ before the main evening’s entertainment. Ryan is also appealing for prizes for the charity raffle.
