Free energy efficient boiler for residents

FREE energy-efficient boilers are being offered to residents in Ryedale.

The Better Boilers scheme is open to anyone living in the Norton East War who have a D-rated boiler and own their own home or rent from a
landlord.

They must be over 60 years-old and claiming income-related benefits.

The scheme is being offered by Ryedale District Council and the Yorkshire Energy Partnership.

Cllr Linda Cowling, Leader of Ryedale District Council, said: “Installing an efficient boiler is the single biggest way for people to save energy and money in their homes – it will heat your house more efficiently and save you up to £300 per year on your gas bills.”

To take advantage of the offer, call Yorkshire Energy Partnership on (01904) 545020, quoting “Better Boilers.” The scheme will be open to all residents in Ryedale from April.
