Dress-down Fridays, hamper raffles and the Kirkbymoorside 10k Run were just a handful of the moneyspinners carried out in support of Yorkshire Air Ambulance by a local firm.
The team at NSF Health Sciences, Kirkbymoorside, also sold books and DVDs and raffled off the Christmas corporate gifts they received for the life-saving charity last year.
They presented their earnings – £731.49 – to Bob Smailes, the YAA’s regional fundraiser, on Friday.
“The fundraising really is a team effort and we all give what we can,” said Sally Simpson, office support co-ordinator at NSF. “The Yorkshire Air Ambulance is a worthwhile cause and everyone knows someone who has benefitted from it. Living in such a rural area, it is a service that we cannot do without.”
NSF Health Sciences was established in 1986. Formerly known as David Begg Associates and later NSF-DBA, the company is a major global provider to the Pharmaceutical and Medical Devices industries, offering educational training, consultancy and auditing services.
It has chosen the RNLI as this year’s charity.
