Hospital governors appointment

TWO new hospital governors have been appointed to represent Ryedale and East Yorkshire on the  Council of Governors of York Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, which includes Malton  Hospital.

Jeannette Anness and Sheila Miller will provide a link between the public and staff members,  local communities and the Board of Directors of the Trust, and help to ensure that the interests of the community are represented.

The Council of Governors consists of public governors and staff governors who have been elected by their constituencies from the membership of the Foundation Trust. It also includes nominated representatives from the PCT, Local Authority, University and other partnership organisations.
