"Mum and dad were amazing, enthusiastic people who did so much in their lives and were always busy doing the things they loved.

"Their lives revolved around their family and community and Scarborough where they lived and were involved in so many things in the community.

"They will be sorely missed, both by ourselves and many others, as we have been shown by all the kind messages we have received since this news emerged.

"All four people in the car that day were very much beloved by us and we will feel their loss."
