Traditional gender roles will be reversed at a Norton pub this Saturday for a fundraiser inspired by a popular Facebook campaign.

Men will wear make-up and women go au naturel at The Union, Commercial Street, for the fun day in support of MacMillan Cancer Relief. The event, sponsored by Rob Gadd, of Malton Property Maintenance, is the brainchild of Amy Simpson who was moved to act after Facebook was flooded with “selfie” pictures taken of women without make-up and men “glammed up” for cancer charities.

Anyone wish to make a donation or wanting to get involved can contact Amy by longing on to makeupformacmillan@gmx.co.uk.
