Man, 30, due at court over motoring offences

A man from Malton is due to appear at Scarborough Magistrates’ Court in connection with a number of motoring offences.

North Yorkshire Police have charged the 30-year-old with driving a motor vehicle after the refusal or revocation of a driving licence on the grounds of disability, driving without third party insurance and driving a vehicle while over the authorised axle weight.

The court appearance follows his arrest at Low Marishes, near Malton, on Monday at 11am when the Ford Transit van he was travelling in was stopped by police officers.

He is now due to appear at court on Monday, May
