Offer to tackle fuel poverty

FREE boiler servicing and repairs are being offered to Ryedale householders who are certain benefits and over 75 years-old.

The Warmer Together Project, which lasts until March 31, aims to tackle fuel poverty by saving up to £310 on their increasing energy bills. Subject to certain eligibility criteria, residents may be eligible for the free service, on a first-come first-served basis.

Cllr Linda Cowling, Leader of Ryedale Council, said: “The service offered will mean that the vulnerable residents of Ryedale can ensure that heating systems are working to their maximum efficiency, control the heat within the property more effectively and therefore save money on fuel bills.” Anyone interested should contact the White Rose Home Improvement Agency on (01723) 232527, quoting Warmer
Together Project.
