Range Rover stolen in ‘two-in-one’ burglary
POLICE in Malton are appealing for witnesses after a vehicle was stolen during a ‘two-in-one’ burglary.
A black Range Rover Discovery 3 was taken sometime overnight between Sunday and Monday when thieves broke into a property on Chapel Road, in Settrington.
The suspects broke into the house through a rear window and, after stealing the keys, took the Range Rover from the driveway.
The registration plate of the vehicle is B8 JDL.
Officers are appealing to anyone with any information about the burglary to come forward.
PC Andy Rogers, of Malton Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: “I am urging anyone who saw any suspicious activity in the Settrington area around the time of the incident to contact the police or Crimestoppers as soon as possible.
“I would also like to hear from anyone who knows where the Range Rover is now, or has any other information that can assist the investigation.”
Anyone who can help officers with their enquiries is urged to contact North Yorkshire Police on 101 – select option 2 – and ask for Andy Rogers or Malton Safer Neighbourhood Team.
Alternatively, contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111, quoting reference number 12130019208.
