A team of firefighters who set a world record when they ran to every fire house in New York have handed over some of the money they raised to Macmillan Cancer Relief.

Firefighters Justin Rowe, watch manager at Malton Fire Station, Andy Blades, Mark Naylor and Terence Gregg ran to all 225 fire houses, covering 366 miles in only seven days, in September.

They raised £8,000 - donating a generous £1,700 to the cancer charity recently.
