A range of famous characters will be on show when the Slingsby Scarecrow Trail returns this Bank Holiday Weekend.
Starting on Saturday at 12pm, the village will be transformed into a wonderland of wierd and wacky creations for the popular annual fundraiser which is organised by the Friends of Slingsby School.
Chairman Rebecca Palmer-Bunting said: “The designs are becoming more creative year after year. Families put such a lot of hard work into their scarecrows and having had a sneaky peak at a couple of them it is safe to say this year’s will not disappoint.”
Trails are available for £1 from Robin Hood Caravan Park, Tony’s Village Shop and Slingsby School Reading Rooms from 12pm on Saturday until 4pm on Monday. Refreshments are also available from the Reading Rooms on Saturday and Sunday, 12pm to 4pm. There is also a prize draw for visitors.
