Head chef Paul Peters and the team at The Black Swan, Helmsley, have earned a three rosette rating from the AA for “The Gallery” restaurant.
The award, presented to only 16 UK restaurants in January’s ratings list, is given to restaurants which AA guidelines say “achieve standards that demand recognition well beyond their local area.”
The ratings scheme is recognised one of the leading indicators of quality both by consumers and those in the hospitality industry. Criteria includes the dishes, the ingredients and their presentation, as well as the ambience and standard of service.
Mr Peters said: “I am delighted. It’s not only been a personal achievement but testimony to the superb team supporting the re-launched The Gallery restaurant, which was back in September.
