Workshops planned to support businesses

BUSINESSES are being invited to free interactive workshops and one-to-one mentoring sessions.

Organised by Ryedale District Council and SCY, there will be a hat-trick of three-hour workshops at Ryedale House in Malton.

The first session, Developing Your Long and Short Term Business, will be held on February 13, followed by Planning Better Decision Making on February 25 and Managing and Analysing the Financial Side of Your Business on March 8.

A dedicated mentoring module has also been designed to offer support to businesses that wish to innovate, grow and prosper.

Most businesses are eligible for this support except if they work exclusively in retail, agriculture, although many ancillary businesses qualify, tourism, fishing or banking and insurance.

For those organisations that do not qualify but would still wish to participate in the programme of workshops, there is a small charge of £30 per delegate per workshop.

In order to access this free support you must commit to a minimum of 12 hours of interaction and this must include all the workshops. A charge of £30 will be invoiced to the organisation for non-attendance at any workshop booked.
