Wrap up warm – and quickly

A SCHEME which offers free home insulation to residents living in the Ryedale area has almost reached its funding limit – with capacity for only 30 more properties in the area.

Subject to a free no-obligation home survey, residents can still claim free loft and cavity wall insulation for their homes – but for a short time only.

Wrapping up Yorkshire is open to all private homeowners in Ryedale, including landlords.

Funded by national energy providers, the scheme has been hugely successful, says Cllr Mrs Linda Cowling, Leader of Ryedale District Council.

“We’re now urging residents to take up the offer before the money completely runs out,” she said.

Anyone interested needs to get in touch with Yorkshire Energy Partnership by calling (01904) 545020, quoting “Wrapping up Yorkshire.”
