MALTON'S year nine rugby team are in high spirits after a clean sweep in the Ryedale area tournament, emerging as winners in a fiercely-contested competition.
They now go through to a second event where they hope to repeat their winning performance and qualify for the East Yorkshire area tournament.
Results: Malton 10 Lady Lumley’s 0, Malton 20 Caedmon/Eskdale 0, Malton 15 Ryedale 5.
