Leaders Malton Cons C see off Thornton Dale

Malton Cons C now lead the league by eight points following a 4-2 victory at bottom side Thornton Dale.
There were victories for Simon Weatherill, Phil Hart, Craig Mead, Romane Reeves for the visitors with Don Alvey and Mike Catling, 22 break, winning for the hosts.

Malton Cons A were victors in the derby match winning 4-2 against their B side, with Bob Newton, John Ruston, Peter Woodall and Dan Pawson winning for the A team.

Dan Williamson and Tim Foggin took the points for the B side.

Pickering Cons C had a derby encounter with their A side taking the spoils with a 4-2 victory.

Ken Davison, 28 break, led the way, with further wins for Pete Scaife, Alan Rudgard and Dave Dawson, while John Breckon and Dave King scored for the hosts

Bright Steels lost 5-1 at Pickering Cons D.

There were wins for Martin Foxton, Andy Porter, Dave Lamb, Chris Hughes and captain Stuart Dobson, with Pete Bell taking the point for the visitors.
