SNAINTON 2nds eased to a 52-run win against Bridlington 3rds in Monday night's Atlas Ward Cup final at Cayton.
Skipper Paul Nicholson struck a crucial 37 for Snainton, who batted first, with support from teenage all-rounder Rob Holt, who added a tidy 18.

Brid bowled well to dismiss Snainton for 115 in 20 overs, James Mearns and Jamie Boynton claiming three wickets apiece.

Holt then took charge with the ball, the young seamer ripping through the Brid batting order with figures of 4-33, Ryan Cooper taking 2-4 as they skittled Brid for 53, Josh Dawson hitting a plucky 24.

Score: Snainton 2nds 115 all out (P Nicholson 37, R Holt 18, J Mearns 3-43, J Boynton 3-19, B Mitchell 2-20) beat Bridlington 3rds 63 all out (J Dawson 24, R Holt 4-33, R Cooper 2-4) by 52 runs.
