West Heslerton School auction is a winner for Boro fans

West Heslerton CE Primary School have teamed up with Scarborough Athletic FC sponsors Third Energy to auction a signed Boro shirt and half-season ticket to raise funds for the Ryedale school.

The West Heslerton headteacher Rachel Wells said: “We have been donated a Scarborough Athletic FC adult half-season ticket and a brand new signed SAFC home shirt by their main sponsors, Third Energy, who have a plant within our school catchment area.

“The half-season ticket is for an adult and a child will be admitted free with the adult. The shirt is an adult XS (approximately 34 inch chest) and has 18 signatures of Boro players.”

Wells added: “This is a great collector’s item, a perfect Christmas gift for a Scarborough fan. The school hope to auction this to raise funds for additional visits and activities for children here.

“Anyone interested in bidding should send their best price with their name, address and telephone number to West Heslerton CE Primary School, High Street, West Heslerton, Malton. YO17 8RD.

“All bids should be received by Friday December 12. The shirt will be posted to the winning bidder by Friday December 19, who should receive this by Christmas.”
