TRAIN enthusiasts will be able to take a trip down memory lane on one of the last remaining A4 Pacific-class locomotives.
The Sir Nigel Gresley will run on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway between Pickering, Levisham, Goath- land and Grosmont from Sunday to Thursday.

The engine will haul luxury period carriages from the 1930s.

There are further events being held on the railway this autumn such as the Wartime Weekend in Pickering between October 10 and 12, when visitors will have the chance to experience what life was like in wartime Britain.

Anyone interested in finding out about train fares, timetables, and special events, can contact the railway's customer services team by phoning (01751) 472508 or emailing info@nymr.co.uk.

A TV documentary on the restoration of the Sir Nigel Gresley can be seen on ITV1 Yorkshire tonight at 11.10pm.

You can see our own video of the Sir Nigel Gresley at last year's Wartime Weekend event.
