A four-year-old’s arty skills have seen her win the Malton and Pickering Mercury’s Draw Your Dad competition.

Kayley Hills impressed the public with a picture of her dad, Mark, who she drew holding a golf club – earning enough votes to take home the top prize of a family pass on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway.

The Helmsley Primary School pupil, who also won the Mercury’s Draw Mum competition, now intends to take her family and best friend, Oscar, on the heritage railway.

Dad Mark said: “I would like to thank everyone for voting for her to win – it is fantastic. We didn’t think she would win for a second time.”
