The Bank Holiday Weekend began with a bang for visitors to Flamingo Land.
The theme park and zoo at Kirby Misperton welcomed hip hop artist Tinchy Stryder on Friday for Party in the Park – as part of a celebration which also saw a new outdoor entertainment area officially opened.
Hundreds of people turned out to watch the London-based musician and businessman perform some of his more popular songs from his back catalogue to open Riverside One to the public.
Other entertainment included a display from a high-flying acrobatic team, children’s entertainment as well as other musical guests.
Riverside One, which has recently been completed by the team at Flamingo Land, has been designed to provide visitors with a perfect place in which they can dine in a piazza, taking advantage of pizzas and gourmet burgers and the nearby Umbrella Bar, while watching live entertainment on an outdoor stage.
