Channel 4 celebrity Elizabeth Peyton-Jones will advise foodies how to “Eat Yourself Young” at Malton Food Lovers Market next week.
The Yorkshire-born naturopath and herbalist appears in the highly successful TV programme How Not to Get Old and boasts a clutch of celebrity clients at her London clinic, including actress Thandie Newton.
On Saturday, November 9, she will bring her expertise and advice to the popular monthly market, demonstrating how to prepare simple and nutritious foods and signing copies of her bestselling book, Eat Yourself Young.
Elizabeth specialises in helping people look and feel their best through choosing the right foods.
“My health was transformed when I started eating natural fresh foods, simply prepared, and boosted with herbs and spices,” she said. “Malton Food Lovers Market is the ideal place to help promote the value of eating a healthy diet and adopting a youthful lifestyle.”
The November Market, which runs from 9am to 3pm, will feature more than 35 stalls, including Sloe Motion, Raisthorpe Manor, Just Jelly and White Rose Bakes, among others.
There is also free entry, free parking and a free tea or coffee with any bakery purchase. New this month will be some “street food” stalls selling hot, tasty food, The Christmas Food Lovers Market will take place on Saturday, December 14, after which the food markets will take a break for January and February, starting again in March.
