Scarborough Saturday League: Edgehill seal semi success against rivals Pier
Steve Clegg's men went ahead after just five minutes at Sherburn, Joe Danby letting fly with a free-kick to open the scoring.
It was soon 2-0 to Edgehill, Kieran Link firing in with a superb strike from just inside the Pier box to double his side's lead heading in at the break.

Hide AdA goalkeeping error soon resulted in a third for the visitors after the break, their skipper Joe Gallagher taking advantage of the mistake to make it 3-0.
The scoring was soon wrapped up by Pickering Town forward George Walmsley, who cut in from the left flank and fired in for 4-0.
Delighted Edgehill boss said: "It was a comfortable win and a dominant performance."
Clegg singled out Jamie Patterson as his side's man of the match after a solid midfield display, with defender Ricky Nock also in impressive form.

Hide AdWest Pier player-boss Will Jenkinson was quick to give credit to the victors.
"Credit to Edgehill they played well," said Jenkinson.
"They defended well so credit to them. We gave them a couple of sloppy goals and had some good chances, but it wasn't our day.
"Good luck to both sides in the final."
In Division Two, West Pier Reserves battled back after going a goal down to beat struggling Goal Sports 7-2.
Romanian Dragos Dragan smashed in to hand Goal Sports the lead after 20 minutes, but Pier weren't to be denied as Terry Day scored twice, one from the penalty spot, to hand Johnny McGough's men the lead.

Hide AdThe sides went in level at the break though, Jordan Padgham equalising for Goal Sports.
Pier took over after the break and hammered in five unanswered goals to bag the victory.
Day hit another two goals, with strikes from Mikey Anderson, 17-year-old skipper Jack Scarborough and Matty Turner wrapping up the scoring.
Pier's star man was right-back Callum Plant, while goalscorer Dragan was Goal Sports' star man.
