East Yorkshire Buses launches flexible-travel ticket for those whose daily routine is disrupted by coronavirus
and live on Freeview channel 276
The new Flexi5 tickets, which are available on the East Yorkshire Buses app, are similar to a weekly ticket, but with more flexibility to help those whose routines have become unpredictable during the coronavirus crisis.
Instead of being tied in to travelling all week, as you are with a weekly ticket, the Flexi5 tickets give you five days of travel which you can use as and when you need them.

The company was inspired to create the new tickets after seeing that many regular commuters were now working to different patterns.
Ben Gilligan, Area Director of East Yorkshire, said: “During the last few weeks, we’ve seen more and more people returning to work, but we’ve found that travel patterns are different to before.
“Since lockdown, all our lives have become less predictable.

"Your plans change at a moment’s notice. So we wanted to bring in a ticket that’s suited to our new lockdown lives.”
The tickets are available to buy now from the East Yorkshire Buses app, which can be downloaded free from the App Store or Google Play.
The tickets are available for various different zones, including for travel around Scarborough or Bridlington, and between Bridlington, Filey and Scarborough.
