Tributes paid to 'funny and caring' Gavin
Tributes have flooded in for the “funny, caring” man who will be sorely missed by many.
A Facebook page set up in loving memory of Gavin has seen posts from family and friends, old and new, paying tribute and sharing memories of the caring son, brother and uncle.

Hide AdNiece Olivia Boyle posted: “He had the biggest heart and was one of the most caring, funny men I have ever met.”
Police were called to Peasholm Park on the morning of Wednesday February 24, after a passer-by spotted a body near the bandstand.
Ambulance crews were called to recover the man.
Police later officially named the man as Gavin Francis Egan and an inquest was opened and adjourned on Monday February 29 .

Hide AdFriend Sadie, who posted on Facebook, said: “You always seemed to bring a smile to our faces, you’re going to be missed dearly and never forgotten. We all have amazing memories of you and we’ll cherish them forever.”
An old friend said: “You were one of the nicest people I ever knew and it was great growing up and hanging about together, and good to have a good catch up every time I saw you!
“You always had a smile and a hug and made me laugh. My thoughts are with all the family at this tragic time.”
Gavin’s funeral will be on Tuesday March 8 at 11am at East Riding Crematorium, Octon Cross Road in Driffield.
