VIDEO: Watch aftermath of dramatic blaze at Cresswell Arms pub near Malton

The video, shot by our photographer James Hardisty, shows firefighters still at the scene of the blaze which broke out at The Cresswell Arms off the B1257 in Appleton-le-Street shortly before 4.43pm yesterday.
The full extent of the damage is not yet known but it is understood to be substantial.

Hide AdIn our video, firefighters can be seen removing tiles from the scorched roof.
Crews from five different stations - Malton, Pickering, Sherburn, Helmsley and the aerial ladder platform from Scarborough - were called to tackle the blaze.
People living nearby were asked to close their windows while they dealt with the fire and tried to stop flames spreading to other buildings.
North Yorkshire Police Roads Policing Group said the road was shut yesterday and diversions were in place.

Hide AdCrews have been at the pub damping down and hotspotting all night, and say they will be there throughout today.
According to the pub's website, it is owned by Rory Queen and his daughter Emily.
The website says: "They and the dedicated team of staff have transformed this once tired building into a sheer delight."
