Rhodes salutes vocal supporters after McGurk win
Rhodes, who moved to his fifth pro win in six outings, was quick to thank his horde of travelling supporters who roared him to success on the night.
He added: “My following are getting a reputation.
“I won’t have sold as many tickets as the Scunthorpe lads, but my support made the biggest noise of the night.

Rhodes admits that the preparation for his draw against Steven Backhouse last time out wasn’t ideal, and was quick to thank his coaching team for their support in the build-up to Saturday.
“I maybe came back too soon from the injury,” said Rhodes.
“My preparation has been great this time, I have to thank everyone at Westway for their help and support. It’s a team effort in the gym.”
The Westway man was pleased with his performance, admitting he was happy to get back to winning ways.
“I thought I won every round to be honest,” added Rhodes.

“Even though I thought I won my last fight, it was good to get back on track with a win.”
